DANCENERGY UNIFORM POLICY 2026
Lesson Attire
The studio’s dance attire is available from the Dancenergy Studios Uniform Shop.
Uniform is compulsory from the beginning of Term 2.
Dancenergy uniform attire must be worn in all classes.
We maintain a dress code to:
Encourage concentration and a sense of inclusiveness
Avoid distractions and feelings of inequality caused by varying attire
Allow teachers to clearly see alignment, posture, and technique so they can correct and guide students effectively
Hair and Personal Presentation
Students with long hair must have it securely tied back and away from the face.
A neat ponytail is preferred for all classes.
A ballet bun is compulsory for all ballet exam classes.
Students should carry their dancewear, shoes, and other belongings in a named bag. Please label the bag and all items clearly.
Dancewear should be kept in good repair and laundered regularly.
No casual or sloppy attire and no school uniforms are to be worn in class.
Footwear and Safety
The correct dance shoes must be worn to every class.
Students are not to dance in stockings or socks only; if they do so, it is at their own risk.
Hygiene
Students are expected to observe good personal hygiene at all times.
